Problem-Solving Activity

Problem 3: Luis is struggling to balance his time between soccer practice,
part-time work, and studying for an important exam. He feels
overwhelmed and worried that he's going to burn out or underperform in
one of his commitments
1. Identify/Define the Problem
Luis has too many responsibilities at once—soccer practice, a part-time
job, and studying for an exam. He feels overwhelmed.
2. Analyze the Problem
Luis only has a limited number of hours each day. All his responsibilities
are important but trying to do them all without a plan is making him
stressed.
3. Identify and Evaluate Possible Solutions
1. Luis can ask his coach to skip practice for a few days to study.
2. He can ask to work fewer hours this week.
3. He can plan each day to help with time.
4. Choose the Best Solution and Act
Luis picks option 3. He makes a schedule with time for school, work, and
sports. This helps him stay calm and do better in everything.
5. Review and Reflect
After one week, Luis feels better. He is less tired and more focused. Now
he knows that planning helps, and he can ask for help if he needs it.
