Good [morning/afternoon], everyone.
I’m Lalitha, a second-year [Link] student from the Computer Science and
Engineering department. Today, I’m here to talk about my short-term and long-
term goals.
Short-Term Goal
My short-term goal is to become skilled and successful in web development.
I chose this because web development is a growing field with lots of opportunities.
It allows me to build real applications and be creative with my code.
To achieve this, I am focusing on:
● Learning core technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git.
● Practicing front-end frameworks like [Link].
● Exploring back-end tools like [Link] and databases such as MongoDB or
MySQL.
● Building personal projects like a portfolio site and small web apps.
● Improving through online courses and coding practice.
● Sharing my work on GitHub and connecting with others on LinkedIn.
Long-Term Goal
My long-term goal is to become a Full-Stack Web Developer, and eventually
take up a role as a Tech Lead or even start my own tech company.
To reach this goal, I plan to:
● Gain experience through internships and real-world projects.
● Learn advanced tools like [Link], TypeScript, and cloud technologies like
AWS.
● Improve soft skills like teamwork and leadership.
● Stay updated with new trends in web and tech.
● And possibly, explore entrepreneurship in the future.
Conclusion
In short, I’m working step by step—from learning the basics to building full
applications—to turn my interest in web development into a long-term career.
I believe with continuous effort and learning, I can reach both my short-term and
long-term goals.
Thank you!
