Solution & deployment architecture

Instructions

You will need to describe a recommended solution and deployment architecture for a New
Celland IIPS solution. You will also need to put forward a set of guideline recommendations around
the considerations and the process to be followed when ultimately commissioning and promoting
the solution into the production ecosystem.

The NCCB has mandated that the core IIPS solution must be hosted in country to be in line with
recently passed regulations. Further they have advised that all of the ‘big 5’ banks as well as a
number of the smaller players have agreed in principle to collaborate and connect into the IIPS
solution. The solution will be hosted and operated by a non-profit organization which will be
managed by representatives of the NCCB as well as the New Celland Banking Association.

Your proposal must include the following:

• A max 2-page write-up to explain and describe each of the key components of the
design and their purpose.
• A supporting deployment architecture diagram with a max 1-page write-up to explain
and describe the design.
• A max 1-pager describing your program governance and change management
recommendations.

Keep in mind that your objective is to convince the NCCB as to the validity and coverage of your
proposal, and therefore you will need to justify each of the choices and recommendations you
make.

Be sure to look back over the topics covered over the last 6 weeks to establish a robust structure
for your submission and to ensure that you incorporate the essential building blocks of an IIPS.

Your proposal will be graded against the rubric that follows.
