Good morning honorable judges.

My name is Techinee Kaeosathian, and I am currently studying in Mathayom 5 at Banglamung School.

Today, I want to talk about something that might sound simple...

but is actually very powerful.

It’s about how the way we speak can create real, meaningful friendships.

Have you ever had a friend who just knows the right thing to say when you're feeling down?

Maybe they said,

“Don’t worry, you did your best,” or “Hey, I’m proud of you.”

Those little words? They may seem small...but they mean a lot.

That’s what we call constructive speech — and it’s more powerful than you might think.

Constructive speech isn’t just about avoiding rude or hurtful words.

It’s about choosing words
that make people feel safe, respected, and understood.

Even something as simple as,

“I’m here for you,”
can build trust.

And trust?
That’s the heart of every real friendship.

But let’s be honest.

If all we ever do is gossip, complain,or blame... people start to pull away.

Negative words push people away.

But kind, positive words?

They bring people in.

Now I’m not saying we have to be fake,or overly sweet all the time.
Being honest is still important.

But we can be honest in a way that builds, not breaks.

Instead of saying,
“You’re always late,”

we can try,
“Hey, it really helps when we’re on time.
Can we plan better next time?”

Same message — but with more care.

Friendship doesn’t grow from perfect moments.

It grows from real conversations —conversations full of listening, respect, and kindness.

So let’s use our voicesto lift others up.

To support, not shame.

To connect, not compete.

Because in the end... our words have power.

The power to hurt… or the power to heal.

And when we speak with kindness, that’s when true friendship begins.

Thank you very much.
