Lettering:
• Required for figure description,
dimensions, notes on
materials, title etc.
• Done in single and uniform
stroke either in vertical or in
inclined manner.
• Maintain constant spacing and
use capital letters only.
Drawing table preparation:
• Keep the drawing sheet under T-
square.
• Align the stock of the T-square
with the edge of the drawing
table.
• Adjust the horizontal alignment
of the drawing sheet with the
blade of T-square.
• Attach the drawing paper with
the table using drafting tape.
Classroom decorum:
• Preparation of drawing paper must be completed before coming into
the class.
• Enter class 5 minutes before the schedule.
• Arrange the drawing table properly and set your drawing paper to the
table.
• Bring all the necessary drawing instruments.
• Listen to the instructions properly.
• Do your class work by your own effort.
• Submit the drawing within given time.
Measurement of drawing sheet in lab:
• Everyone must use A4 paper.
• Margin dimensions and title block dimensions are as follows:
