Module Requirements with Rubrics
The final requirement will be a video presentation of the
selected topics from the course outline following the format.
I. Introduction – What is all about the topic?
(importance/relevance)
II. Objective – Why you choose the topic? Discusses the
interesting knowledge that may contribute to the field of
science.
III. Main topics – This may include, definition of term,
characteristics, processes, parts and functions, and etc…
IV. Summary of the topic (concise and precise)
V. Acknowledgement (addresses the sources of the topics
giving due recognition
Module Requirements with Rubrics
The following rubrics are:
1. One (1) hundred percent if the procedures were properly
done, systematic presentation, clearly discussed, and properly
labeled.
2. Ninety (90%) percent if the procedure were properly done,
systematically presented, with small correction when discussed,
and properly labeled.
3. Eighty (80) percent if some procedures were omitted
during discussion, fairly presented, and several correction during
the presentation and properly labeled.
4. Seventy five (75%) if some of the procedure were skip and
unclear during the discussion, fairly not presented during the
discussion and some parts were not properly labeled or omitted.
5. Seventy (70%) percent, If the presentation is not properly
discussed, not systematically done and improperly labeled
6. Sixty (60%) failed to present the output.
Chapter 1 Assessment RUBRICs
A power-point presentation on-line of selected acclaimed scientist
and his contribution on the above mentioned branches of botany.
The format of the presentation will be as follows:
I. Introduction (what is the demographic profile of the scientist
and his/her specialized field?)
II. Contribution to the field of science (botany) give at least five
and explain.
III. References
Chapter 1 Assessment RUBRICs
The following rubrics includes:
1. One hundred (100%) percent if the presentation is clear and
followed the format without any correction
2. Ninety (90%) percent if the presentation is clear
however one contribution was omitted.
3. Eighty (80%) percent if the presentation is clear but 2
contributions were omitted
4. Seventy-five (75%) percent if the presentation is moderately
clear and some contribution of the scientist was omitted.
5. Seventy (70%) percent if the presentation is unclear and
some contributions of the scientist were omitted.
6. Sixty (60%) no output presented.
Chapter 1 Requirements with Rubrics
Learner may select one (1) branch of botany and broadly explain
the field of study with corresponding example in at least 50 words.
The format of the written activity includes introduction, (definition
and discussion of the field of study and explain the corresponding
example.
Chapter 1 Requirements with Rubrics
The following rubrics are:
