Planning and Constructing Classroom Test
Assignment

General Directions
 This assignment is to be carried out individually.

The Content of the Assignment


Dear teachers, you are required to prepare a comprehensive test plan and construct test items
based on the plan. Your assignment involves the following tasks.
 Identifying the grade level,
 Identifying the Subject to be considered,
 Identifying the Unit/Units,
 Deciding the length of the test ( i.e. 25 items),
 Obtaining the learning outcomes (Objectives) to be measured in line with the
weight assigned,
 Outlining the contents imparted in line with the period assigned,
 Developing test/ table of specifications (Test blueprint),
 Constructing five appropriate items from each item format (True-false, Matching,
Completion, Multiple choice, and Essay items). and
 Finally, preparing general directions for the test and specific direction for each
item type.
