DEFINITION:

 GENETICS – Genetics is the study of heredity, the process by


which traits are passed from parents to offspring.

HEREDITY – heredity is the process by which traits are passed


from parents to their offspring.

 INHERITANCE – inheritance refers to the process by which


genetic traits are passed from parents to offspring.

 VARIATION- variation refers to the differences that exist among


individuals of the same species or among different species

 PUNNET SQUARE – A punnet square is a diagram used in biology


to predict the probability of different genotypes and phenotypes in the
offspring of a genetic cross.
