12. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION


1 General Requirement
The Router should support modular architecture, multi-core Processor, internal
redundant field replaceable power supply (from Day1). The Router Should have

capabilities of seamless field upgrade/replacement (without interrupting running
processes and services) for modular interfaces.
1.2 Router have a physical separation between control and data planes.
2 Hardware and Interface Requirement
Router should have 4 x 1G SFP/Base-T (combo or dedicated) port.

The bidder shall supply 4 Nos. of SFP transceiver ( FO-LH-1 Gbps) with LC patch chords.
The Router should support interfaces like Channelized E1/T1, Serial V.35, G.703, LTE,
Gigabit and 10G Ethernet modules. All the modular interfaces on the router should

support hot-swap ability feature to accommodate field upgrades without rebooting the
router.
2.3 The Router should have at least 4 empty slot for future use
Router should have minimum 6 GB of on-board/inbuilt DRAM/RAM for data plane +

GB DRAM and 32 GB Flash.
3 Performance Requirement
Router should have minimum 1 Gbps WAN Throughput upgradable to 4 Gbps. Requisite
