Hi everyone! How’s it going?

From my point of view, It is very necessary to know how to distinguish a formal or informal
context and vocabulary, since it is something that we will end up making use of in our day to
day and we cannot we can't afford not to control this facet of English.

First of all, what diferences a formal or informal one is the purpose/motive of the message.
The formal context it is usually related to business, applications... while the informal is more to
communicate, to meet with that person, to talk about life, and other similar things.

Secondly, it is worth to highlight the style that each type follows. In formals it always needs to
be distinguished by paragraphs, using an appropriate vocabulary. On the other hand, informal
ones don't need any particular style as it is usually shorter messages, and the vocabulary, it is
not that complex, it is the one you would use in your day-to-day life with the people around
you.

Finally, we have to be aware of the type of person who is going to receive our message, since
the informal is usually directed above all to the related especially to the work-related thing,
whilst the formal one is to our nearest environment, such as family or friends.
