Briefly describe your experience with the M&S knowledge and skill set listed below. If you don’t have experience in one or more of
the six areas, please indicate by N/A. The CMSP Certification Board is looking for your overall experience and as such, not all the
knowledge & skill set areas listed are required.

Basic knowledge of M&S principles, methods, practices, and


project lifecycles.

Awareness of M&S applications (training, analysis,


experimentation, engineering, acquisition) and categories
(live, virtual, constructive).

Ability to apply knowledge of engineering, mathematics,


and scientific principles to M&S tasks and projects.

Ability to plan and execute M&S activities with project


stakeholders under direct supervision of a team lead, supervisor,
or manager.

Awareness of general M&S concepts, such as abstraction, model


attributes (e.g., validity and resolution), time representation, and
environment (e.g., Live, virtual, and Constructive).

Awareness of broadly applicable methods, such as continuous


simulation, discrete event simulation, Monte Carlo M&S, and
Verification, Validation, & Accreditation.
