Now, turn your project over and go to those stitch markers you put in the first rows, start
crocheting from the first marker.

Join and finish off

ASSEMBLY
Now, take the two panels and stack them on top of one another, and using the yarn you didn’t
cut after the top panel, start to crochet all the way around the manta ray. On the outward
corners, put 3sc in the stitch so the corner rounds nicely. Once you get to the tail point, chain 9,
turn, 8ss, then return to crocheting around the manta fish. Once you are nearly done, lightly
stuff so it still keeps its slightly flat shape. When you meet up with your starting point, join with a
ss and finish off, tying off and weaving in ends.
