TRANSPORT IN THE PHILIPPINES WAS SHAPED BY THE AMERICANS.

THIS ERA MARKED THE GRADUAL SHIFT FROM RAIL-BASED TO ROAD


TRANSPORT, WHICH PERSISTED EVEN AFTER WORLD WAR II AND THUS,
