Theme: - “Save yourself from this corrupt generation’’ Acts 2:40b


Title: - What’s exactly going on?
Objective: - To understand the meaning of ‘’corrupt generation’’
INTRODUCTION
Peter is addressing a crowd that has just witnessed the outpouring of the Holy
Spirit and heard the gospel message. He is calling them to respond to the message
of Jesus Christ. ‘’MEANING’’ ‘’save yourselves from this corrupt generation’’ is
a call to turn away from the sinful ways and values of the society around them and
to embrace the new life that comes through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
The term ‘’corrupt generation’’ refers to the society that is morally and spiritually
degraded. It often signifies a world that is opposed to God’s standards and
righteousness.

apart from this influences.
