Job Title: Principal Analyst - CP&A
Location: Bangalore
Reporting to: Manager
Job Description
1. PURPOSE OF ROLE
This role requires an analytical mindset, accuracy, attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities. Their primary
responsibility involves collaborating with key stakeholders to meet SLAs and targets, while consistently improving processes and
reports. Timely closure of deliverables is essential, and the individual should proactively seek opportunities for value addition and
efficiency improvements in business operations. Effective stakeholder management and teamwork with team members are
integral to the role.
The position necessitates daily oversight of activities, including regular updates with the Manager on People, Technology, and
Process. The Principal Analyst will work closely with the Manager to gather relevant feedback, align it with targets, and support
team members in their professional growth within the organization.
2. KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Develop and enhance various reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
· Provide insightful analysis on BDR performance, trends, and key metrics.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to create meaningful and actionable insights.
· Working with multiple data sources like Nielsen, Salesforce, SAP, MS Access, Qlik etc
· Understanding of Sales Processes and Systems to enable the individual in the role to provide good actionable/insightful and
timely inputs to Sales Team
· Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
· Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
· Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
· Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
· Present information using data visualization techniques
· Collaborate with business partners at various levels to research and validate functional requirements
· Engage and communicate with stakeholders and development to clarify cross-functional and cross-domain requirements, and
overcome cross-team obstacles to meet the overall organizational goals
· Review, comment, follow-up and target reported defects and enhancement requests
· Collaborate with engineering and product development teams
3. Qualifications, Experience, Skills
Level of educational attainment required:
· Masterʼs or B.E in computer science or relevant fields
Previous Work Experience Required
· At least 4 to 6 years in data analytics related position.
· Strong knowledge on advance POWERBI and advance EXCEL for reporting.
· Proven data analysis experience using SQL and Python
· Good statistical knowledge with problem solving mindset
· Experience in building predictive models and forecasting
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Working experience in CPG/Sales domain is an added advantage
Language Skills Required
· Fluent business English
