Weekly Progress Report

Project: Demarcation and Related Activities of NUP 10-acre Plot, I-17 Islamabad
Completed Activities:
26th June 2025
The demarcation of the NUP (National University of Pakistan) plot 10 acre located in
Sector I-17, Islamabad was carried out with the collaboration of CDA (Capital
Development Authority) and Survey of Pakistan. Wooden pegs were installed at all four
corners of the plot to mark the boundaries.
27th June 2025
A detailed briefing regarding the demarcation of the plot was given to the Project
Director NUP and Registrar NUP.
30th June 2025
A meeting was held with the Director Land, CDA to discuss the demarcation of the land.
During the meeting, the following key observations were raised:
a. A discrepancy of 200 feet was identified within Sector I-17, which was also
discussed with DG Land Survey.
b. The issue of land encroachment was highlighted.
c. It was noted that a road is passing through the middle of the plot, requiring further
discussion and resolution.

1st July 2025


The Project Director NUP and Registrar NUP visited DHA Head Office, where
discussions were held with DG Planning and the Land Department regarding the NUP
Master Plan and Technical Feasibility Studies.
2nd July 2025
A meeting was held with DHA Surveyors regarding the Topographic Survey of the plot.
A meeting was also conducted with the Director Land Survey, CDA, who provided the
updated coordinates of the plot.
3rd July 2025
A visit was made to the Survey of Pakistan office, where the alignment of the plot was
completed based on the updated coordinates provided by CDA. The updated alignment
was sent to the Director Land Survey, CDA for verification.
4th July 2025
The updated coordinates provided by CDA have been imported into the AutoCAD
drawing. Based on these coordinates, the alignment and positioning of the plot within
the sector has been thoroughly checked to identify any errors or discrepancies.

It is further planned to discuss the identified alignment and any potential errors with the
Survey of Pakistan to ensure accuracy and resolve any remaining issues.
The 10-acre NUP plot was demarcated with CDA and Survey of Pakistan, and corner
pegs installed.
Briefings revealed a 200-foot discrepancy in Sector I-17, land encroachment, and a
road crossing the plot.
NUP officials met DHA for Master Plan and feasibility studies.
DHA Surveyors met for topographic survey and CDA provided updated plot coordinates.
Plot alignment was updated by Survey of Pakistan using new coordinates, sent to CDA
for verification.
Updated coordinates are in AutoCAD for error checking; further discussions with Survey
of Pakistan are planned for accuracy.
