Blood Pressure Pill Effectiveness Study

A study was conducted to test the effectiveness of a pill in lowering systolic blood pressure among 10 volunteers. The results showed a significant difference in blood pressure before and after taking the pill, with a t-statistic of 2.99 and a p-value of 0.015, indicating that the pill does affect blood pressure at the 0.05 significance level. Therefore, the null hypothesis that systolic blood pressure is not affected by the pill is rejected.
