INTRODUCTION

This consisting guide consists:-

1. Material Components per unit of building construction work items.

The quantities indicated for each component are computed considering, the
possible wastage, breakage and shrinkage depending on the material type. But
incase of concrete, content of cement can differ from that indicated in this guide
due to factors like. Quality and size of the material components etc.
2. Estimated average performance rate

Output rate for the same kind of works can widely vary depending on the type,
complexity and locations of building to be built, conditions, skills of labor etc.

Preparation and compilation of a comprehensive and accurate performance also

demand coordinated use of the necessary resources, approaching and exploiting
the available data sources.

Till then. The performance rates that are indicated in this guide are only
estimated average. They are intended to help in preparation of engineers
estimate and related costs within the Building Design Enterprise Only.
