the product;

It can market 30% of its output at Rs. 550 per unit without incurring any of the expenses
referred to in (a) to (d) above.
Prepare a cost sheet for the month showing total cost and profit at 30% and 100%
capacity level.

a) Calculate the overhead recovery rates based on actual costs for the previous year.
b) Prepare a detailed cost statement for the order received in the next year, and the price to
be quoted if the company wants to earn a profit of 10% on sales.
