The best way to solve the world’s environmental problems is to increase the cost of fuel.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, the environment become worse and worse. There are many problems like air is
dirty, water is not clean, the Earth is hotter and animals die. Some people say if we make
fuel more cost, the environment can be good again. This can help a bit but not the best way.

When the price of fuel go up, people maybe not want to drive a car or motorbike too much.
They will try to take the bus, train or bicycle more. That can reduce the smoke and make the
sky more blue. Also, when fuel is expensive, factory maybe also use less, and they don’t
throw too much gas into the air.

But this solution not work good for all people. Many person need car everyday to go job,
bring children to school or buy things in supermarket. If fuel cost too high, they will have big
difficult. Poor people will more suffer than rich people because they already don’t have
much money. The price of food and clothes also go high because transport use fuel. It will
make life harder for many.

We should not only increase fuel cost. We should use more clean energy like wind or sun
power. The government needs to build more electric bus and train for everyone. They also
must teach people how to save energy and recycle trash. If everybody help, we can protect
the environment better.

To conclude, making fuel more expensive is one way to help, but it is not enough and
maybe cause more problem. I think we need to do many different action together to really
protect the planet and make future better for next generation.
