2.2 IPM+PVM Stand-Alone Networking
In this networking project, both the IPMD and PVMD board are used. The data and
NMS information of PVMD is transmitted upstream through the upstream port of
IPMD. Since the version of the SoftSwitch does no support the NGN PVMD
integration, the subscriber voice will be configuring in stand-alone mode.

3.1.2 Broadband Test Scheme
3.2 NMS Test Scheme
3.2.1 Verified Items
1. Whether the UA5000 (including IPMD and PVMD) can be added correctly to the
NMS
2. Whether the NMS can get alarms of UA5000 properly
3. Whether the host state is synchronous with the state displayed on NMS
4. Whether the EMU reports information normally
I. Test Case
In all the test cases mentioned above, the PC connected to broadband (narrowband)
main control board should be able to Telnet to the broadband (narrowband) main
control board of UA5000.
3.2.2 Hints of Simple Fault Location
Whether the NE software matches NMS software
Whether the alarm function of NE has been enabled
Whether the settings on NMS Server are right
