Q1: Domain Proficiency (Any Two)

(I) Handling a misunderstanding (Communication Skills)

• You and your teammate were working on a task. Due to a miscommunication, your teammate
feels that you didn’t share important information with them. They are upset.

You are required to respond to this situation in any one of the following ways:

o Scripted Response: Write a conversation between you and your teammate. Apologize
for the confusion, explain your side calmly, and suggest how to avoid such
misunderstandings in future.
o Role Play: Practice the conversation with a friend or family member acting as the
teammate. Focus on listening and staying calm. After the role-play, write what went
well and what you could improve.
o Written Response: Write a short message or email to your teammate where you clarify
what happened and propose how to improve teamwork and communication next time.

(II) Managing Time Effectively (Time Management)

• Scenario: As a customer service representative in a retail environment, a customer
approaches you, visibly upset about a defective product they purchased. They demand an
immediate replacement and voice their dissatisfaction with the shopping experience. You
can choose to respond in one of the following ways:
o Scripted Response: Create a dialogue between yourself and the customer,
showcasing how you would manage the conversation and provide a satisfactory
resolution.
o Role-Play: Perform the scenario with a partner, demonstrating effective
communication techniques to handle the customer's concerns empathetically.
o Written Response: Write a detailed account of how you would approach the
situation, including the strategies you would use to ensure the customer feels heard
and valued.
(III) Resume Writing with AI

Use an AI tool (like ChatGPT, Rezi, Zety, or Canva) to create or redesign your resume. Then, prepare a short
“before and after” presentation.

Presentation Format:

• Slide 1: Your original resume or a rough draft

• Slide 2: The improved version using the AI tool
• Slide 3: Key changes you made and why
• Optional: A short elevator pitch introducing yourself as a candidate

Q2: Industry Exposure

Imagine you are preparing for an interview with a company that hires professionals for various
roles across different departments. To ensure you're well-informed and make a strong impression,
it's important to thoroughly research the organization beforehand. You can gather this
information by visiting the company physically, taking a virtual tour, or exploring reliable online
sources:

1. Organization Overview: Provide a brief background of a well-known company, including its history,
mission, and core values. Explain how it delivers its services or products within its industry.
2. Key Operational Tasks: Describe the core activities carried out within the organization. This may
include managing daily operations, handling resources, coordinating workflows, and maintaining quality in
service or product delivery.
3. Software and Tools: List the main software applications and tools used by the company for
different functions and operations.
4. Competitor Analysis: Compare how the company manages its operations with its competitors. Focus on
performance indicators like operational speed, accuracy, customer/stakeholder satisfaction, and overall
process efficiency.
5. Roles & Responsibilities: Describe the general responsibilities associated with key roles in the
organization. This could include tasks such as managing resources, supervising workflows, ensuring team
productivity, or supporting customer service and operational efficiency.
6. Job Opportunities: Identify 4–5 well-known companies in your area from sectors like IT, BPO, BFSI
(Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), or Retail. Highlight the key skills these employers typically
look for in applicants—for example, attention to detail, knowledge of inventory systems, communication
skills, and the ability to work in dynamic or high-pressure environments.

Note: Make sure to include at least one visual element, like a chart or diagram, in your report. You
can use Online resources or virtual tours to help with your research.
Q3: Community Engagement & Exposure

Identify this problem, describe its impact on your tasks or productivity, and propose a
potential solution. In your report, include the following:

1. Problem Identification: Clearly state the problem or challenge you are encountering
along with the area/society specification.
2. Impact: Explain how this problem is affecting your work or area of study.
3. Proposed Solution: Provide a detailed suggestion or input on how this problem
could be resolved.

4. Expected Outcome: The results we expect to see after implementation.

solutions to the problem identified.
