Dear Parents, Greetings!

As we approach the upcoming holidays, we wish our students to be engaged,


entertained, and learning during this break.

Kindly find the list of activities and tracker.

The listed daily activities are more than just a way to pass the time- they’re an
opportunity to bond, learn, and create lasting memories with family and friends.

Parent’s role is to encourage them to participate support them in tracking their


progress and join in on the fun!

Guide your ward to fill in the tracker daily. On the day of school reopening, let them
carry a lot of memories to share with us along with this tracker sheet. If you can
capture and share a few pictures while making memories, we are excited to see
those too.

1. Mindful Moments
Yoga: Let their day start with yoga (for a minimum of 15 minutes).
(Virabhadrasana- 1, Virabhadrasana -2, Tadasana, Tiryak Tasasana,
Vrikshasana, Trikonasana)

2. Fitness
Simple Exercises: Incorporate simple exercises like stretching, shoulder rolls,
touching toes, leg swings, jumping jacks, arm circles, etc

3. Newspaper Adventure
Involve them in reading newspapers by discussing current events, news, or
interesting articles.

4. Gardening
Involve them in nature-loving activities such as
i. Planting seeds or seedlings.
ii. Watering plants.
iii. Maintenance of garden.
iv. Harvesting fruits/vegetables.
5. Creative Writing
Guide them to write an article/short story/poem/thematic drawing/comic
and send it to magazines for publication.

6. Cooking Fun
Healthy food making – Let them get involved in learning how to prepare
healthy simple meals. Practical cooking skills along with their mom will add
more flavour to the food.

7. Brain Teasers
Engage them for some time in solving Sudoku, board games, or any brain
games.

8. DEAR Storytime
DEAR (Drop Everything And Read)- Get some story books of their interest
and encourage them to read daily.
Allow them to narrate the story or they can make some twists and turns in it.
Ensure they should complete a minimum of two books within May month.
Share the stories that you heard from your grandparents/parents with them.

9. Sports Frenzy
Outdoor games- Encourage them to play outdoor games such as hide-and-
seek, flying disc (frisbee) skipping/jumping rope, capturing the flag, etc with
their friends.

During this month allow them to do some charity activity by visiting local
nursing homes/orphanages or enable them to host small events
(sports/cultural event/clean up project/art expo or any collaborative
endeavors) with their friends.

Kids should explore their creativity through painting, drawing, or making
crafts.

Cook together & have meals together, watch movies, and have fun. Go for an
outing and let them learn the skill of spending/saving money. Establish and
celebrate family traditions.

[Link] Diary
Encourage your ward to record their thoughts and experiences at the end of
the day in their small personal pocket diary. Let them realize their
accomplishments & challenges.

Make this holiday a blast for your kids while fostering a love for learning and
growth.
