MICRO LESSON PLAN

SUBJECT: PHYSICAL & HEALTH EDUCATION


TOPIC: NON-COMMUNICABLE DISEASES
GRADE LEVEL: JSS3
AGE: 13YEARS & ABOVE
DURATION: 5 MINUTES
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, the students
should be able to;
1. Define non-communicable disease.

2. Identify atleast 2 examples of Non-communicable disease.

3. Understand and list atleast 3 importance of preventing


non-communicable disease.
INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Whiteboard, marker and
lesson plan.
ENTRY BEHAVIOUR: The teacher asks the students what they
know about heart disease or cancer, if they have or know
anyone affected by one of these health condition and after
listening to the students share their thoughts, the teacher goes
further to introduce and highlight more on the topic non-
communicable diseases.
