Quarter Trading

Trading Sessions & Quarters (UTC-4 - New York Time)

Each trading day is split into 4 main sessions, and each session is divided into 4 quarters:

Asia Q1 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Q2 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Q3 9:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Q4 10:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Midnight London Q1 12:00 AM – 1:30 AM


Q2 1:30 AM – 3:00 AM
Q3 3:00 AM – 4:30 AM
Q4 4:30 AM – 6:00 AM

New York AM Q1 6:00 AM – 7:30 AM


Q2 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Q3 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Q4 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

New York PM Q1 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM


Q2 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Q3 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Q4 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM

True Opens (Static Levels)

Each quarter has a “True Open,” which is the opening price of Q2. These are key levels to
gauge direction (bullish or bearish bias).
Buy below the true open if bullish. Sell above it if bearish.

• True Year Open – First Monday of April


• True Month Open – Second Monday of the Month
• True Week Open – Monday at 6PM
• True Day Open – 12:00 AM Midnight
• True Asia Open – 7:30 PM
• True London Open – 1:30 AM
• True NYAM Open – 7:30 AM
• True NYPM Open – 1:30 PM
Time is Fractal

• 1 Year = Four Quarters of 3 Months Each


• 1 Month = Four Weeks
• 1 Week = Four Trading Days
• 1 Day = Four Sessions (Asia, London, NYAM, NYPM)

Quarter Label Versions


Version 1:
Question Label Description Note

Q1 (A) Accumulation – Consolidation Don’t Trade

Q2 (M) Manipulation – Judas Swing Trade

Q3 (D) Distribution – LRLR Trade

Q4 (X) Continuation / Reversal of previous Q. Don’t Trade

Version 2:
Question Label Description Note

Q1 (X) Continuation / Reversal of previous Q. Don’t Trade

Q2 (A) Accumulation – Consolidation Don’t Trade

Q3 (M) Manipulation – Judas Swing Trade

Q4 (D) Distribution – LRLR Trade

Key Insight
If Q1 expands, Q2 likely consolidates. If Q1 consolidates, Q2 likely expands.

PD Array Mapping
Use the following reference when trading based on different timeframes:
• 1-minute chart → 15-minute PD Array
• 5-minute chart → 1-hour PD Array
• 15-minute chart → 4-hour PD Array
• 1-hour chart → Daily PD Array
• 4-hour chart → Weekly PD Array
