Introduction & Welcome Speech

(A) A very cheerful good morning to our beloved chairman, the


directors and respected teachers, and my dear friends.
(B) We are delighted to welcome you all to today’s assembly
conducted by the students of Grade 8.
(A) Imagine a world where the boundaries of possibility are
constantly being pushed, where the unimaginable becomes
reality at the speed of light.
(B) Picture a time not too long ago when the idea of carrying a
supercomputer in our pockets was the stuff of science fiction.
(A) Yet here we are today, living in an era where technology not
only shapes our lives but also reevaluates what it means to be
human.
(B) So, today we are going to talk about a topic that has been a
topic of discussion for many years now. And that is modern
technology and its impact on daily life.
(A) In this digital age, technology is not just a tool; it has become
an integral part of how we communicate, learn, and interact
with the world around us. From smartphones that keep us
connected to the internet and open doors to endless
information, technology influences every aspect of our lives.
(B) I think technology is a double-edged sword. It has the power
to enhance our lives, improve communication, and expand
our horizons.
(A) However, I encourage everyone to think critically about our
relationship with technology and how we can harness its
power for positive change in our lives and our community.
(B) So, fasten your seatbelts as we dive into the exhilarating
world of modern technology—where every click, swipe, and
voice command opens up a universe of possibilities!
