* Fire Emergency Procedures
On Discovering a Fire:
1. Raise the alarm by using the nearest fire alarm call point.
2. Leave by the nearest fire exit.
3. Do not use elevators.
4. Proceed directly to your assembly point.
On Hearing the Alarm:
1. Leave by the nearest fire exit.
2. Proceed directly to your assembly point.
3. Do not stop to collect personal belongings.
4. Do not re-enter the building until given clearance by authorities.
Fire Safety Equipment Locations:
1. Fire extinguishers are placed at strategic locations along the corridor. 2.
Call points for raising alarms are positioned near staircases and exits.
3. Escape routes are clearly marked in green on the floor plan.
* Earthquake Emergency Procedures
During an Earthquake:
1. Drop, Cover, and Hold: Take cover under sturdy furniture or against an interior wall.
2. Stay away from windows, glass, and unsecured furniture.
3. Do not use elevators as power failure may occur.
4. If indoors, stay inside until the shaking stops.
5. If outdoors, move to an open area away from buildings, trees, and power lines.
After an Earthquake:
1. Check for injuries and provide first aid if necessary.
2. Evacuate the building using designated escape routes only if the structure is unsafe.
3. Avoid using electrical devices until safety is confirmed.
4. Proceed to the assembly point and await further instructions from authorities.
5. Hotel management to conduct a structural assessment before allowing re-entry.
* Typhoon Emergency Procedures
Before a Typhoon:
1. Monitor weather updates and warnings from local authorities.
2. Secure outdoor furniture and objects to prevent them from becoming hazards.
3. Ensure emergency supplies such as food, water, flashlights, and first aid kits are available.
4. Advise guests to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel.
During a Typhoon:
1. Stay indoors and away from windows and glass doors.
2. Avoid using electrical appliances during strong winds and heavy rain.
3. Listen to emergency broadcasts for further instructions.
4. Assist guests in staying calm and provide regular updates on the situation.
After a Typhoon:
1. Assess any damages to the building and report hazards to authorities.
2. Check for injuries and administer first aid as necessary.
3. Avoid floodwaters and fallen power lines.
4. Coordinate with local authorities before resuming hotel operations.
