🧬 1. Prehistoric Times (Before writing was invented)

a. Early Humans

 Humans belong to the species Homo sapiens.

 Evolved in Africa around 300,000 years ago.

 Early humans were hunter-gatherers—they survived by hunting animals and gathering wild
plants.

b. Stone Age

 Divided into:

o Paleolithic (Old Stone Age) – used simple stone tools, lived in caves.

o Mesolithic (Middle Stone Age) – started domesticating animals.

o Neolithic (New Stone Age) – began farming, settling in villages, using polished tools.

c. Important Changes

 Discovery of fire.

 Invention of tools and weapons.

2. Ancient Civilizations (Around 3000 BCE – 500 CE)

Humans began forming large societies with governments, religions, and writing systems.

a. First Civilizations
