VII. POTENTIAL RISK

Conducting a Junior-Senior Prom comes with several potential risks that teachers must anticipate and
address to ensure the event's success. Safety concerns, such as transportation mishaps, accidents, or emergencies, are
a top priority. To mitigate these, teachers should arrange reliable transportation, conduct venue safety inspections, and
coordinate with local emergency services. Behavioral issues, like inappropriate actions or rule violations, are also
possible. Establishing clear rules, supervising different areas, and conducting necessary checks can help maintain
discipline and order. Moreover, emotional conflicts like bullying or social exclusion might arise, requiring teachers to
foster inclusivity and address disputes discreetly.

Event management challenges, including program delays or technical difficulties, and health risks like
allergies or exhaustion, also need to be addressed. Teachers can ensure smooth execution by rehearsing the program,
preparing backup plans for technical equipment, and providing water stations and meal accommodations. Venue
security, such as unauthorized entry, can be controlled by hiring security personnel and monitoring entry points. Lastly,
financial mismanagement can be avoided by setting a strict budget and overseeing fundraising efforts. With proactive
planning and vigilant oversight, teachers can create a safe, enjoyable, and memorable prom experience for all.
