Under normal usage,one set of
Alkaline batteries will last about
one year. lf batteries are inserted
improperly, or if they have become
worn, the LED indicator lamps in
the viewf inder will fail to light when
you depress the shutter release halfway.
Should batteries requ ire replacement,

equivalent 1.5V Alkaline or Silver-

the focusing ring of the lens. Reason-
ably sharp focus can be obtained bY
focusing on any part of the screen.
However, to insure pinpoint focusing,
check your focus against the split-
image center spot in the middle of
the screen which is composed of
a split-image and a m icroprism collar.
Precise focus is indicated when the
two halves of the split-image are
completely aligned, and the m icro-
prism collar area does not glitter.
lf the image is split, turn the focusing
ring f urther until both halves of the
