Skit Script: "Planet vs Plastic – The Trial"
Narrator- Gehena (enthusiastic tone):
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Court of Planet Earth! Today’s case: Earth vs
Plastic.
Earth is fed up with pollution, and today, justice shall be served! Let’s watch as the
courtroom drama unfolds...”
Judge- (banging table or notebook):
“Order! Order in the court! We are here to hear the case of Planet Earth vs Plastic.
Let the prosecution begin. Earth’s lawyer, please step forward.”
Earth’s Lawyer- Hamsini (confidently):
“Your Honour, my client, Planet Earth, is in grave danger.
Plastic is everywhere – in oceans, rivers, even in the air! It’s choking life, harming animals,
and disturbing the balance of nature.”
“We call our first witness – Sea Fish!”
Sea Fish comes to the front
Sea Fish- Kavin (gasping dramatically):
“I was swimming happily, when I swallowed a plastic straw. I thought it was food! My
cousin ate a plastic bag and… and…” (sniffles)
“He’s no longer with us…”
Plastic’s Lawyer- Deekshitha (defensive):
“Objection, Your Honour!
Plastic didn’t jump into the ocean by itself. Humans threw it there!
I was invented to make life easier—cheap, strong, waterproof! Don’t blame me!”
Earth’s Lawyer- Hamsini:
“Let’s hear more truth. Call the next witness—School student!”
Student- Betsy:
“Our school banned plastic bottles. At first, I was sad. No Avengers bottle!
But then, I got a steel one. It keeps water colder and it’s cooler too!”
Plastic’s Lawyer- Deekshitha (rolls eyes):
“Ugh, kids these days!”
Earth’s Lawyer- Hamsini:
“Next—Cow.”
Cow- Sreshta (moos sadly):
“Moooo… I accidentally ate a plastic bag. Couldn’t digest it. Felt terrible. Moooo… no
more plastic in my food!”
Earth’s Lawyer- Hamsini:
“Now, the River.”
River- Raasidha (soft tone):
“I used to flow freely. Now I carry bottles, bags, and wrappers. I’m dirty. Fish avoid me.
I miss the days when I sparkled…”
Earth’s Lawyer- Hamsini:
“Final witness—Tree.”
Tree- Amaira (tired voice):
“Plastic buried in soil blocks water from reaching my roots. Even I, a strong tree, feel
weak.”
Earth’s Lawyer- Hamsini:
“Your Honour, this is not about banning plastic forever. It’s about using it wisely.
Let’s reduce, reuse, and recycle. Let’s say NO to single-use plastic!”
Plastic’s Lawyer- Deekshitha (sighs):
“I agree…but I’m not evil. I only become harmful when humans don’t dispose of me
properly.
Use me responsibly—and I can help, not harm.”
Judge- (serious tone):
“Plastic—you are found guilty of pollution. But… the real change must come from people.”
