Opening (1 minute)
Instructor: “Good morning, everyone! Let’s start our session with a short prayer. Ms.
Baldonado, can you please lead our opening prayer?”
Baldonado: “Heavenly Father, we thank You for this day and the opportunity to learn
together. Bless our minds with wisdom, our hearts with patience, and our hands with diligence
as we engage in today's lessons. May we grow in knowledge and understanding, guided by
Your grace. Amen.”
Students: In the name of the father, the son, the holy spirit, Amen.
Instructor: “Now, before you take your respective seats, kindly pick up pieces of paper near
you if you see one, and kindly arrange your chair and sit properly.
Instructor: “Now, for your attendance, kindly scan this QR Code right here to confirm your
attendance. I’ve also given you a printed copy of this QR code for you to scan in your seats.
“For my house rules in this class, I only have 3 rules for everyone here to follow:
 Respect Everyone – Listen when someone is speaking and be kind to classmates and
teachers.
 Raise Hands – Raise your hand before speaking or asking questions. Do not answer in
chorus.
 Keep It Clean – Maintain cleanliness in the classroom as what I have said pick up pieces of
paper if you happen to see one.”

II. Activity (4 minutes)

Instructor: “Once again, good morning HE 2A! I hope you’re all feeling great and ready to
learn. So today is another day and that means that we’re also going to tackle a new topic
discussion which is Digital Tools.”
Instructor: “To begin, let’s play a quick game called Tech Hunt: Find & Check! The class will
be divided into two groups, each receiving a mix of digital and non-digital tool cutouts. In one
minute, they must sort the tools and paste the digital tools in one column and the non-digital
tools in another. A representative from each group will then explain their choices.”
(STUDENTS PASTE THEIR CUTOUTS)
GROUP 1 - Google Classroom, Zoom → Ruler, Quizlet → Index Cards, PowerPoint Presentation
→ Chalk → Notebook
GROUP 2 - Google Meet → Blackboard, Kahoot!, Canva → Art Supplies → Pens, Google Drive →
File Cabinet

Instructor: “Your one-minute ends right here. Now, let’s hear first from the group 1
represented by Ms. Bilar.
Bilar: "Good morning, everyone. Let’s start on the digital tools. So, we believe these are
digital tools because they require a device or internet, like Google Classroom, Zoom, and
PowerPoint, which support online learning and communication. Meanwhile, we placed these in
the non-digital column because they are used manually, such as index cards, rulers, and
notebooks, which don’t rely on technology."
Instructor: “What a very well-cited explanation, Group 1 and Ms Bilar. Now, let’s have Group 2
represented by Ms. Mangadlao.”
Mangadlao: "We placed these in the digital tools category because they require the internet
and a device to function. Google Meet is used for virtual discussions, Kahoot! for interactive
quizzes, Canva for digital design, and Google Drive for online file storage. These tools make
learning more interactive and accessible anytime, anywhere. Meanwhile, we categorized
these as non-digital tools because they are used physically without needing technology.
Blackboards, art supplies, pens, and file cabinets are traditional materials for teaching,
designing, writing, and organizing in a physical classroom."
Instructor: “Wow, thank you for that very informative presentation, Group 2. Class let’s give
the two groups around of applause for their very well-thought presentations. (Claps) And here
is a simple token of appreciation for both of you for a job well done in representing your
respective groups.”
Instructor: “Indeed, both groups successfully identified which tools are digital and which are
not. They accurately classified digital tools as those that rely on technology or the internet,
while non-digital tools are used manually without the need for any digital support—which is
absolutely right!”

II. Analysis (2 minutes)

Instructor: “And so with that being said, I would like to ask someone in this class on what
digital tools have they tried or used for their education and how did it enhance their learning
experience? And so, I would like to call Ms. Remonsada to answer.
Remonsada: "There are actually so many digital tools I’ve used in my education, like Google
Meet, Google Classroom, and Canva. They made my learning experience easier by helping me
attend online classes, access lessons anytime, and create better presentations. For me, these
tools saved me time and made my studying more fun and interactive."
Instructor: “That’s great to hear! Thank you for that, Ms. Remonsada! And so, class, she’s
right! Digital tools really do make learning more accessible and engaging. It’s amazing how
they help us connect, create, and collaborate in ways that weren’t possible before.”

III. Abstraction (4 minutes)

Instructor: “And so, to give everyone a deeper understanding on what really are digital tools,
let’s proceed to our next slide.”
Instructor: “Digital tools are software applications or platforms that facilitate communication,
collaboration, and content creation. In simple words, these are tools that involves the use of
technology and internet. In terms of education, digital tools enhance students' skills by
improving their ability to use technology effectively, collaborate with others, and manage
their own learning and growth.”
Instructor:
“There are also different kinds of digital tools. And they are mainly being classified based on
their features and uses:
1. For communication, we have here the Zoom. Platforms like Zoom mainly enables virtual
classes, meetings, and breakout room discussion. It supports both one-on-one and group
communications. With the help of Zoom, students no longer need to go physically to school
everyday for they can just attend classes online saving them time and money.”
2. For collaboration, we have the Google Docs. Applications such as Google Docs allow
multiple users to work simultaneously on documents, fostering collaborative learning and
project development.
3. For Learning Management Systems (LMS), we have here the systems like Google Classroom
which streamline the distribution of assignments, sharing of resources, and tracking of
student progress.
4. In terms of Assessment Tools, we have here the Kahoot! Which provides interactive quizzes
and assessments, making learning engaging and allowing for immediate feedback. Teachers
no longer need to print large amounts of test questionnaires saving them time, money, and
paper wastes.
5. For File Sharing, we have here Google Drive, which I think everyone here are mostly
familiar with. Services such as Google Drive offer cloud-based storage solutions, enabling
easy access and sharing of educational materials.
6. Lastly, for Content Creation, we have the best friend of everyone, none other than, the
Canva. Platforms like Canva empower users to design visually appealing presentations and
graphics, enhancing the quality of educational content. It enables students and teachers to
unleash their creative sides in making their presentations with the help of Canva.
Instructor: “That’s all for the different digital tools. After learning its different classifications,
we finally understand how it plays a crucial role in our education. It benefits our learning in a
way that it enhances engagement, improve collaboration, provide flexible access to learning
materials, and offer instant feedback for better learning outcomes. Digital tools are indeed life
savers especially now that we are living the 21 st century world.”

IV. Application (4 minutes)

Instructor: “Now, at this juncture, let us have a Group Task called Tech-Talk Challenge: Tools
for the Task. Class will be divided into 2 groups and each will be given a scenario and must
identify top three (3) most suitable digital tools. Within 2 minutes, create a one-slide
presentation on Canva showing these digital tools and attach it to the Google Drive link that I
have sent in our GC. You can also use the canva template that I have sent in our GC. One
representative will then justify their group’s choices to the class. You can now make use of
your laptops that I have told you to bring. This side is Group1 as well as this side will be Group
2. Your 2 minutes starts now.”
STUDENTS START MAKING PPT 2 MINUTES
Instructor: “Let’s start with Group 1.”
Group 1 (Stella): For the scenario of collaborating on a group project, we chose Google
Drive, Google Meet, and Excel Spreadsheet. First, Google Meet because it helps us
communicate and discuss ideas in real time, even if we are not in the same place. Second,
Google Drive because it allows us to store and share files easily, so everyone in the group can
access and edit documents anytime. Lastly, Excel Spreadsheet because it enables us to
organize data, track progress, and manage project details efficiently. These three tools make
group work smoother, helping us stay connected and complete tasks faster.
Instructor: “Thank you Group 1, how about the Group 2?”
Group 2 (Francheska): For the scenario of creating a digital presentation, we chose Canva,
Google Docs, and Google Search. Google Search helps us find accurate and relevant
information to support our presentation. Also, Google Docs allows us to write and organize
content together before adding it to the slides. Lastly, Canva helps us design eye-catching
slides with ready-made templates, images, and graphics. These three tools make the process
easier, ensuring that our presentation is well-researched, well-structured, and visually
appealing.
Instructor: “Thank you for that very informative and well-thought presentations, group 1 and
group 2. You have correctly identified suitable tools for your respective scenarios. Here’s also
a simple token of appreciation for representing your groups.”
Instructor: “So, to summarize our topic, we learned that digital tools help us connect and work
together using online platforms and apps. And it is being classified into different types based
on its features and uses. It's important to take the time to learn them because they benefit
us. What I’m trying to say class is, with all the innovations today, especially in our tech-driven
world, why not make the most of them diba?"
