 Drug Addiction

Drug addiction is a serious social and health problem that affects individuals, families, and societies. It
refers to the uncontrollable use of harmful substances like heroin, yaba, cannabis, or alcohol, which damage
the body and mind. Addicted people often lose control over their behavior, suffer from mental illness, and
may even commit crimes to support their habit. It is especially dangerous for the young generation, as it
destroys their future and moral values. The causes of drug addiction include bad company, depression,
curiosity, and lack of awareness. To fight this menace, we must raise awareness, provide proper
treatment, and ensure strict law enforcement. Everyone must work together to build a drug-free society.

 Student Movement of July 2024

The Student Movement of July 2024 in Bangladesh was a powerful and peaceful protest led mainly by
students demanding fair reforms in the quota system for government jobs. The movement began when
students from universities and colleges across the country united under the slogan “ বষ ম র অবসান চাই”
(We want an end to discrimination). They protested against the unfair distribution of job quotas,
demanding a merit-based system that ensures equal opportunity for all. The movement gained nationwide
support through social media and street demonstrations. Although there were some clashes and
disruptions, the students maintained a non-violent approach. This movement reflected the rising
awareness and unity among the youth of Bangladesh and showed their strong voice for justice and
equality in the job sector.

 Rural Life vs Urban Life

Rural life and urban life are two different ways of living, each with its own advantages and
disadvantages. Rural life is peaceful, simple, and close to nature. People in villages usually live in a calm
environment with fresh air, open spaces, and strong social bonds. On the other hand, urban life is fast,
busy, and modern. Cities offer better education, healthcare, job opportunities, and entertainment, but they
also suffer from problems like traffic, pollution, and stress. While rural areas lack many modern facilities,
urban areas often lack the natural beauty and quietness of village life. Both lifestyles have their own
charm, and the choice depends on personal preferences and needs.
  Heroic Martyr Abu Sayeed

Martyr Abu Sayeed was a brave and patriotic student who sacrificed his life during the historic student
movement of July 2024 in Bangladesh. He was a student of Madaripur Government Nazimuddin
College and actively took part in the peaceful protests demanding a fair and just job quota system. On
15 July 2024, while participating in a demonstration, he was shot and killed by police in a tragic and
unjust act. His death sparked nationwide outrage and made him a symbol of courage and sacrifice. Abu
Sayeed’s martyrdom inspired thousands of students to continue the movement with greater
determination. He will be remembered forever as a true hero who gave his life for justice and equality.

Tree Plantation

Tree plantation is one of the most important activities to protect our environment and ensure a healthy
life on Earth. Trees give us oxygen, absorb carbon dioxide, and help prevent global warming. They also
protect the soil from erosion, provide shade, fruits, wood, and shelter for many animals. In cities, trees
reduce air pollution and keep the environment cool and clean. Unfortunately, due to deforestation, our
environment is becoming unhealthy and dangerous. To solve this crisis, we must plant more trees and take
care of them regularly. Schools, communities, and individuals should come forward to make tree plantation
a national movement. A green world is a safe and happy world.

 Road Accident

Road accidents are one of the major causes of death and injury in today’s world. Every day, thousands
of people lose their lives or get seriously injured due to reckless driving, over-speeding, violation of traffic
rules, or unfit vehicles. In many cases, drivers are careless or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Pedestrians are also at risk due to the lack of awareness and proper footpaths. Road accidents cause
great pain, financial loss, and suffering to the victims and their families. To reduce such accidents, strict
traffic laws should be enforced, awareness should be increased, and both drivers and pedestrians must be
educated about road safety. A little caution can save many valuable lives.
  Garment Factory

Garment factories play a vital role in the economy of Bangladesh. They are the largest source of foreign
currency and provide employment to millions of people, especially women. These factories produce clothes
for many famous international brands and export them all over the world. The growth of the garment
sector has improved the lives of many poor families and contributed to the development of the country.
However, workers often face poor working conditions, low wages, and lack of safety. Incidents like
factory fires or building collapses have raised concerns about worker rights. To ensure the sustainable
growth of this sector, factory owners must improve safety, provide fair wages, and treat workers with
dignity. A strong and ethical garment industry is essential for a prosperous Bangladesh.

 Natural Disaster

A natural disaster is a sudden and extreme event caused by nature that results in great loss of life and
property. Common natural disasters include floods, cyclones, earthquakes, droughts, and tsunamis.
Countries like Bangladesh often suffer from floods and cyclones due to its geographical location. These
disasters destroy homes, crops, roads, and sometimes entire communities. People lose their loved ones,
become homeless, and suffer from hunger and disease. Although we cannot prevent natural disasters, we
can reduce their impact through early warning systems, proper planning, disaster preparedness, and quick
emergency response. Public awareness and government support are also very important. By working
together, we can save lives and recover faster from the damage caused by natural disasters.
