You and some other students recently organised a fashion show at your school to raise money for
a charity.
Write an email to your friend about the fashion show.
In your email, you should:
• say what kind of charity you raised money for
• explain what you did to help to organise the show
• describe what happened at the show.
The pictures above may give you some ideas, and you can also use some ideas of your own.
Your email should be between 150 and 200 words long.

Sample Answer:
Dear John,
I’m sorry I haven’t written to you for the last few days. I was busy as a bee organizing the
fashion show I told you about last week.
As you probably know, the World Environment Day was a few days ago — the same day
as the fashion show. Well, this wasn’t luck! We did that deliberately because the charity we were
raising money for (called Greener) aims to save the environment. They launch tons of
educational campaigns to raise awareness of environmental issues among people and plant 100
trees a day! That’s fascinating, isn’t it?
Anyways, I was in charge of designing the posters and distributing them on every street
corner. I couldn’t believe I finally used the graphic design skills I learned in the summer to make
something useful! Also, on the event day, I had to stand at the auditorium’s door, welcome
guests and guide them to their seats.
Fortunately, all those efforts put in paid off. The show was unbelievably successful; we
raised more money than intended and the audience was impressed and enjoyed the show! Of
course, the most popular and cool students in our school were the ones who performed in the
show, showing off the latest fashionable outfits just like real models!

Sky Zone Amusement Park
Do you love superfast roller coasters and other exhilarating rides that make your hair
stand on end? If so, then Sky Zone is a must see.
My friends and I visited it recently, and we were blown away! Located in the bustling
streets of Cairo, it is easily accessible from the city center. The first thing that will grab your
attention is its enormous size! As you enter, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the amiable staff,
who will guide you to the front desk and provide you with the pricing details. From my
experience, they are very polite and informative; they’ll make you fall in love with the place
immediately.
My friends and I were especially fascinated by the wide variety of rides this park offers:
from more common ones such as roller coasters and carousels to bizarre ones such as infinity
falls, there is a ride for everyone. All the rides (including the adrenaline inducing ones) have the
highest safety standards and are well maintained. In addition, cafes, restaurants and food stalls
are all over the place, so you can enjoy mouth-watering food after a tiring day.
However, I must warn you: the place is absolutely a hive of commotion! It’s extremely
bustling, especially at the weekends.
I strongly recommend Sky Zone Park to anyone who wants to have an unforgettable
experience whether alone, with friends or family. It’s absolutely worth a visit.
