The ex-K projects had 12 incidents involved
with cranes & piling rigs operations
WR projects –
¾ 3 hydraulic cranes,
¾ 4 crawler cranes,
¾ 2 piling rigs and
¾ 1 girder beam

d. Have properly trained in the safe use of cranes including the
theory of crane operation
e. Be familiar with the provisions of the LALG & the contents in
the Approved COP

by site supervision staff
¾ The RSS shall conduct inspections on all cranes and lifting
appliances operating in their responsible area
• each of the crane shall be inspected at least monthly
• Crane lorries are exempted
