see if the 100/001 LIFT HARDWARE ERROR page 975
occurs within the same time as another POSI-
TION ERROR (e.g. rotation or compression).

the 100/001 LIFT HARDWARE ERROR, do not 1211

3. If a POSITION ERROR (e.g. rotation or com-

recalibrate the Lift.

DEFECT shuts down the LED of the optical fork, and checks
that the photoresistor shuts down (optical forks are
hardware limits hence they are never obturated).

161/032 HALT ROTATION CON- The rotation node did not start. At power-up, the
TROL FAILURE rotation node sends an acknowledgement (which
can be different from the first hearbeat signal) to
Gantry CPU. If the rotation node does not send an
acknowledgement, the Gantry CPU creates this
error.
Proceed as follows:
1. Reboot the system from the X-Ray Console.
2. If the problem persists check the error logs. If this
error occurs in conjunction with the error 167/007
then there is a possibility that a jumper exists on
the TP2 connector on the Lift board. In this case
you must remove the jumper from the TP2 con-
nector on the Lift board.
3. If the problem persists contact your OLC.
161/037 HALT ROTATION NODE Possible causes:
NOT RESPONDING • Heartbeat signal was not sent by the rotation node.

Heartbeat signal every second to Gantry CPU. If
not, the Gantry CPU creates this error. During lift
motion, the rotation node sends an actual value
message regularly in addition to the heartbeat. If
not, the Gantry CPU creates this error.
• The TP2 connector on the Rotation board is
closed.
Proceed as follows:
1. Reboot the system from the X-Ray Console.
2. If the problem persists check the error logs. If this

161/052 INHIBIT IRLOCK NODE NOT Possible causes:
RESPONDING • The CAN cable W503 on the breast support lock-
ing mechanism is either faulty or badly connected.
• If this error occurs in conjunction with error 191/003
then there is a problem with the power source
going to the breast support locking mechanism.
Proceed as follows:
1. Check the error logs.
If this error occurs on its own then check the
CAN cable W503 on the Breast Support Locking
Mechanism Board. If the error persists once you
have verified that the connections are fine, then
the CAN cable W503 is faulty and needs to be
replaced according to D/R A197 on page 957.
If this error occurs in conjunction with the error
191/003 then there is a problem with the power

167/004 HALT EMCY LINE FAIL- Possible causes:
URE ON COM- • A stop motion simulation fault occurred. At power-
PRESSION NODE up, in order to make sure that the stop motion line
works, the compression board simulates an open-
ing of the stop motion line (like a pressure on the
stop motion button). Then, lift, rotation and com-
pression nodes enter their safety mode and warn
the Gantry CPU. After this check, the Gantry CPU
simulates a stop motion as well. Again, the lift, rota-
tion and compression nodes enter their safety
mode and warn the Gantry CPU. If one of the
nodes does not enter its safety mode, the Gantry
CPU creates an error message.
• The TP1 connector on the Compression board is
closed.
Proceed as follows:
1. Check the error logs. If this error occurs in con-
junction with the error 161/038 then there is a
possibility that a jumper exists on the TP1 con-

you must remove the jumper from the TP1 con-
