II. Rationale

The conduct of Intramurals has long been a cornerstone of holistic education. More than a
celebration of athleticism, this event provides learners with a dynamic platform to
demonstrate discipline, resilience, teamwork, and integrity—values that extend far beyond
the confines of the playing field.

Anchored on the K to 12 Curriculum’s emphasis on physical, social, and emotional

development, Intramurals 2025 seeks to offer all learners an inclusive space to celebrate their
unique strengths, overcome challenges, and foster friendships across year levels.

Through this proposal, we aim to uphold the spirit of camaraderie, amplify the love for
sports, and nurture well-rounded individuals who are physically active, emotionally
intelligent, and morally upright. This year's Intramurals is not just an event—it is a testament
to the transformative power of sports in nation-building, character formation, and student
engagement.
