Summary:
The Associate Operations Engineer supports all customers for Cotiviti/Edifecs product line,
including both SaaS and on-premises deployments. This role is responsible for assisting
customers with post-sales installation activities, ongoing solution support, maintenance,
and operational oversight. The engineer plays a proactive role in collaborating with
Engineering, Product, and Customer teams to triage and resolve technical and application-
related issues that may impact product performance or hinder broader adoption of
Cotiviti/Edifecs solutions. In addition to direct customer interactions, the Associate
Operations Engineer regularly partners with Development, Sustaining Engineering, and
Sales Engineering teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer-reported
issues.
What you will do:
Perform routine operational tasks and maintenance for Cotiviti/Edifecs SaaS
instances, including deploying application upgrades, applying configuration
changes, and monitoring transaction processing to ensure system health and
performance, taking corrective actions as needed to resolve issues.
Develop custom tools, utilities, and ad hoc queries/reports to support both internal
and customer-facing operational requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Engineering,
and Professional Services to troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional
issues.
Monitor the overall solution health, including database performance, system
bottlenecks, and transaction flow, to ensure compliance with defined service level
agreements (SLAs).
Provide interim workarounds or temporary solutions to mitigate client impact and
avoid service disruptions.
Proactively manage recurring submission cycles and reactively address customer-
reported issues and incidents.
Deliver a consistent, responsive, and customer-focused experience across all
touchpoints.
Gather and document complete problem details to enable efficient issue analysis
and resolution.
Reproduce customer issues within a controlled test environment for detailed root
cause investigation.
Continuously enhance product knowledge, technical expertise, and problem-
solving skills.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles and
reusable documentation based on recurring issues and solutions.
Flexible to work in shift-based operations support and may be required to provide
weekend on-call support per rotational schedule.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science.
Solid understanding of technologies underlying Cotiviti/Edifecs solutions, including
Java, JMS, SQL Server/Oracle databases, and web/application servers such as
Apache Tomcat and IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
Familiarity with containerized deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to remotely guide customers through complex, multi-server deployments
and upgrades of enterprise-level products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey
technical concepts clearly and effectively.
