INTRODUCTION

Every year half of the population face the functional barriers in daily life due to
shoulder pain, which affects their quality of the life as well (Marek & Roll,2017)
The initial review of literature found the following assessments mostly used in
rotator cuff injury. Namely, VAS, ROM, Shoulder special tests like Hawkin’s
test, Neer test, Painful arc test, Jobe test, Drop- arm test, Shoulder Pain and
Disability Questionnaire (SPADI), Tampa Scale of Kinesio phobia (TSK),
Disabilities of Arm, Shoulder and Hand (DASH) test, Nordic Questionnaire. So
all the varieties of standardized and non-standardized assessments are often
used by health professional under the pretext of functional assessments not
specifically used by occupational therapists.
