MOTIVATIONAL ACTIVITY

Each number has a corresponding letter, just like


decoding you’re going to find their corresponding letter on the chart.
But today, you are going to sum the numbers before you to get a
number and the corresponding letter.
Each one of you has a green flag and red flag. Raise your
hand if you know the answer and Red flag if your answer is incorrect.
Those student who got a correct answer will be receiving a WOW
CLAP and a prizes after our class.

VIOLENCE
INTENTIONAL INJURIES are injuries resulting from violence. It can
be divided into two: self-inflicted, when a person harms
himself/herself on Purpose and assault, when person/persons harm
another on purpose.

BULLYING

Bullying is an unwanted, aggressive behavior. The behavior is


repeated, or can be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied
and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems.

B. Development

In order to be considered bullying, the behavior must be aggressive


and include:

- An imbalance power - Repetition

Verbal bullying saying or writing mean and nasty things

It includes:

 Teasing

 Name-calling

 Make inappropriate sexual comments

 Taunting

Social bullying, sometimes referred to as relational bullying - hurting


someone's reputation or relationships.

It includes:

 Telling other children not to be friends with someone

 Spreading rumors about someone

 Embarrassing someone in public

Physical bullying-hurting a person's body or destroying his/her


possessions.

It includes:
 Hitting/kicking/pinching
 Spitting
 Tripping/pushing
 Taking or breaking someone's things
 Making mean or rude hand gestures

Cyber bullying - verbal and social bullying done through use of


technology and electronic means.

It includes:

 Using social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

 Using mobile devices (i.e. cellphone)

 Using electronic mails (i.e. e-mails)

Who bullies more girls or boys?

Research on bullying suggests that boys are more prone to be both


bullies and victims of bullying, especially in its physical expression,
since girls are more likely to engage in situations of indirect bullying,
such as teasing or gossip about peers [7,11].

Republic Act 10627, or the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 aims to protect children
enrolled in kindergarten, elementary, and secondary schools and learning
centers (collectively, “Schools”) from being bullied. It requires Schools to
adopt policies to address the existence of bullying in their respective
institutions.

bullying?
2. what advice will you tell your friends to avoid an incident like this?

C. Engagement FRAGMENTED BEAUTY

Direction: The class will be divided into 4 groups. Each group will be assembled the
puzzle to determine what type of bullying is that, who are the people involved, where the
issues take place, and what the solutions and awareness to avoid bullying. The picture
will show on the screen for your reference to assembled the puzzle. You have 5 minutes
to do that activity and if you are done just raise your green flag. And every group will be
stand up in front for their presentation about the picture.

The Impact of bullying
Directions: The class will be divided into 4 groups. Each group
will pick a balloon and they are going to pop the balloon that
they picked. Inside the balloon theirs a assigned topic. They will
create a story and do a role playing showing the topic that they
picked. Rubrics will show on the TV while they were doing it. You
have 5 minutes to prepare for your presentations.

significant. How does cyberbullying differ from other forms of bullying,
and why is it challenging to stop?
a. Cyberbullying only affects people who spend too much time on
social media.
b. It is not as harmful as physical bullying because it does not involve
direct contact.

victims to escape.

4. In Cabuco, a student constantly mocks a classmate by making fun of


their apperance and calling them names. The student being bullied has
started feeling insecure and avoids participating in class discussions.
Verbal bullying, although It does ot involve physical harm, can have
lasting effects on a person’s confidence and well being. Why is verbal
bullying just as harmful as physical bullying?
a. Verbal bullying only involves joking around, so it is not a serious
problem.
b. It is less harmful because there is no physical violence involved.
c. Words can deeply affect a person’s emotions, leading to
anxiety and low self-esteem.
