1. Why do you want to join an NGO?
I've always wanted to contribute to society in a meaningful
way. NGOs play a crucial role in bringing real change, and being part of one gives me a chance to
make a difference. Yogi Foundation’s mission—spreading awareness about blood donation, helping
people recover from addiction, and promoting spiritual well-being—deeply resonates with me. I
believe working with an NGO is not just about giving back but also about learning, growing, and
becoming a more socially responsible individual.
2. Do you have any prior experience in fundraising, corporate relations, or social impact? If yes,
please share details. While I may not have direct experience in corporate relations, I have been
actively involved in social impact projects. Some of my experiences include:
Organizing and promoting community events focused on women’s safety and awareness.
Leading outreach initiatives for my college project, "Stree," which aimed at educating
women about self-defense and situational awareness.
3. Have you been involved in social work before? If yes, what motivated you? Yes, I’ve been
involved in various social initiatives, such as:
Creating the "Stree" project to empower women with self-defense knowledge.
Volunteering for mental health awareness programs and teaching underprivileged children.
Participating in blood donation drives and community outreach activities. What truly
motivates me is the idea that even small efforts can lead to a bigger impact. Seeing people
benefit from awareness programs or social initiatives makes me want to do more.
4. How do you think you can contribute to this role effectively? I believe I can bring value to this
role through my skills in communication, outreach, and digital engagement. I enjoy building
connections and have a keen eye for identifying potential partnerships. My background in web
development and digital marketing can also help in enhancing Yogi Foundation’s online presence.
More than anything, I’m eager to learn, take on challenges, and work towards making a real
difference.
5. Suggest one creative idea for raising awareness or funding for Yogi Foundation. One unique way
to raise awareness and funds is by organizing a "Run for a Cause" marathon. Participants can register
by making a small donation, and corporate sponsors can support the event in exchange for brand
visibility. Alongside the marathon, we can set up interactive booths where people can learn about
blood donation, addiction recovery, and spiritual well-being. Hosting live sessions with experts and
influencers will further boost engagement and spread awareness on a larger scale.
6. Are you comfortable reaching out to companies and influential personalities to discuss
collaborations? Absolutely! I understand that building strategic partnerships is key to expanding an
NGO’s reach and impact. I’m comfortable initiating conversations, pitching ideas, and collaborating
with companies and influencers who align with Yogi Foundation’s mission. I believe my ability to
communicate effectively and build relationships will help create valuable collaborations for the
foundation.
Looking forward to this opportunity to contribute to something meaningful!
Best regards, Kumud Yadav
