To foster a culture of innovation and creativity among the young students, IAPT has instituted the
annual National Student Symposium on Physics (NSSP). The yearly series started in 2013 in
collaboration with the Department of Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Eighth in the series was
held at Indian Academy Degree College (Autonomous), Bengaluru and NSSP – 2022 will be held
during December 21 – 23, 2022.

Bengaluru - 560 070, Karnataka
The format of the symposium consists of Invited Talks by Subject Experts, ORAL and
POSTER presentations by the Students and Visit to Research Laboratories
The UG and PG students with Physics background can apply for the symposium latest by November
25, [Link] Registration fee of Rs 850/- for outstation students, which includes hospitality and
accommodation and Rs 500/-only for local students excluding accommodation. The selected papers will
be communicated by December 05, 2022 through our Website. Travel support (bus or sleeper class by
train) will be provided to the selected papers (for one person only). Application form and other details
