Global progress towards gender equality is very slow as it
requires a multifaceted approach focusing on education,
economic empowerment , healthcare and political representation.
This especially requires addressing harmful practices like
violence and discrimination against women and girls.
There has bee progress over the last decades, but the
world is ot on track to achieve gender equality by 2030.
