INTRODUCTION

Sustainability is essential modern education, and Quezon National High School is

committed create these principles through the establishment of a solar-powered smart
garden. This project combines renewable energy with cutting-edge technology to create
an eco-friendly and intelligent gardening system that not only enhances the school’s
green spaces but also serves as a living laboratory for students. The solar-powered smart
garden utilizes solar panels to generate clean energy, which powers smart irrigation
systems, environmental sensors, and automated features. By integrating internet of
things also known as (IoT) devices and real-time monitoring, the garden ensures
efficient water and energy use, promotes biodiversity, and creates a sustainable
ecosystem.

This initiative aims to foster environmental awareness among students, reduce the
school’s ecological footprint, and demonstrate the practical applications of solar energy
in everyday life. Through this innovative project, Quezon National High School aspires
to lead by example in promoting sustainability and leveraging technology to improve the
environment. This ICT project will not only beautify the school campus but also
empower students with knowledge and skills for a sustainable future.
