Students will learn about FIDE's role in promoting chess education and
understand the requirements for becoming a certified chess educator

2. Chess Fundamentals (1.5 - 2Hours):
1 Chess Rules & Pieces:
Review the basic rules and moves for each piece using the chapters on "What is
Chess?" (Page 8), "The Chessboard" (Page 11), "The Chess Pieces
Part 1" (Page 14), and "The Chess Pieces Part 2" (Page 23) from the coursebook.
Include hands-on activities with the pieces.

Explain these concepts clearly, using examples and diagrams from the
coursebook.
3 Chess Notation:
Introduce basic chess notation using the chapters on "Notation" (Page 74)
