Troubleshooting SOP 1.

 Covered Incidents:-
(1) One drive sync issue?
(2) Unable to connect the laptop with the projector?
(3) Unable to connect to WIFI?
(4) Teams hanging issue?

Incident 1: One drive sync issue?

Method-1

1. Unlink your OneDrive account


2. Select the OneDrive cloud in your notification area to
show the OneDrive pop-up.
Method-2. Select the OneDrive Help and Settings
icon then select Settings.

Method-3. Go to the Account tab.

Method-4 –Select Unlink this PC.

Method-5
1. Clear sign-in credentials

2. Press the Windows key + R to open a "Run" dialog.

3. Enter the path %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\settings and


select OK.

4. Delete the [Link] file.

Method-6

1. Sign in again to re-link your account

2. Press the Windows key and type OneDrive.


3. Select the OneDrive app and sign in when prompted.

[Link] you sign in, OneDrive will prompt you that a folder
already exists: select Use this folder.

Incident 2: Unable to connect the laptop with the projector?


Method-1
1. Update the Display driver. Please follow the steps given below to
update the display driver.

2. Click Start and go to Run.

3. In the Run prompt, type [Link] and then click OK.

4. Device Manager will open.

5. In Device Manager expand Display adapters.

6. Right-click the display driver and click Update Driver Software.

7. Select Search Automatically for Updated Driver Software.

Method-2
1. Check if there are any updates for display drivers available in
Optional Updates; this might fix the issue. Refer to the following
steps.

2. At the Start screen, type Windows Update.

3. Click or tap Settings on the right side of the screen, and then select
Install optional updates from the left results.
4. When the Windows Update control panel opens, click on “Check
for Updates” on the top left corner to receive a fresh list of updates.

Incident 3: Unable to connect to WI-FI?

Method-1:
1. Press Windows key + X

2. -Go to Settings

3. -Click Update and Security

4. -Click Troubleshooter Then Additional troubleshooter.

5. -Look for Internet Connection and run the troubleshooter.

Method-2:

1. Press Windows key + X

2. Go to Device Manager

3. Expand the Network Adapters

4. Look for the Wireless driver that was installed

5. Right-click and Update


6. Look for "Browse my computer for driver

7. Let me pick drivers available drivers

8. Choose an old driver and use it.

Method-3:
1. Reset Network Settings

2. Open Settings.

3. Click on Network & Internet.

4. Click on Status.

5. Under the "Change your network settings" section, click the


Network Reset option.

6. Click the Reset Now button.

7. Click the Yes button.

Method-4:
1. Forget the Network

2. -Press Windows key + X

3. -Click Settings

4. -Click Network and Internet


5. -Click WIFI then Manage Known Network

6. -Click your WIFI name and hit Forget.

Method- 5:

 -Click Start, type CMD, and run as administrator

 -Copy and paste each of the commands below and hit enter.

1. netsh int ip reset

2. netsh advfirewall reset

3. netsh winsock reset

4. ipconfig /flushdns

5. ipconfig /release

6. ipconfig /renew

Method-6

1. Press Windows key + X

2. -Go to Device Manager


3. -Expand the Network Adapters

4. -Look for the Wireless driver that was installed

5. -Right-click and Uninstall

Incident 4: Teams hanging issue?


Method-1

1. Sign Out on Teams app then after that, right-click on the


Teams Icon on the task bar and Select Quit.

2. On your keyboard, Hold Windows key and Press R.

3. Cut and paste %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams in the Run


Window then OK.

4. Delete the contents of the entire folder.

5. Restart Device > Restart Microsoft Teams > Sign In.

Incident 5: Printer Offline issue in Windows PC?

Method-1
 Remove all pending print jobs

To clear the print queue, try the following:


1. Select the Start button, then choose Settings >
Devices > Printers & scanners.

2. Choose your printer, then select Open queue.

3. Under Document Name, choose any documents


listed, then select Document > Cancel. This will
remove all pending print jobs.

Method-2 -

 Run the printer troubleshooter

1. Select the Start button, then choose Settings >


Devices > Printers & scanners.

2. Choose your printer, then click Manage.

3. Click Run the troubleshooter and follow the prompts


to see if Windows can locate any issues

Method- 3

 Disable Use Printer Offline mode

1. If your printer is in Use Printer Offline mode, it definitely


won't work.

2. To turn it off, select Start > Settings > Devices > Printers
& scanners. Then choose your printer and click Open
queue. Under Printer, make sure Use Printer Offline is not
selected.
Method- 4

 Set the printer as default

Doing so will ensure your computer uses the correct printer


for print and scan jobs. Here's how:

1. Select the Start button, then Settings > Devices > Printers &
scanners.

2. Choose your printer, then select Open queue.

3. Under Printer, select Set as Default Printer, then clear Pause


Printing and Use Printer Offline if they are selected.

4. If a message pops up saying “Setting this printer as default


means Windows will stop managing your default printer,"
select OK.

Method-5

 Reinstall the drivers

This may sound complicated, but it just takes a few steps:

1. Go to Start > Settings > Devices > Printers and scanners.


Under Related Settings, click Print Server Properties.
2. Under Drivers, select your printer's driver and click Remove
> Remove driver and driver package > OK.

3. Navigate back to the Printer Server Properties window, then


select Drivers > Add. Use the Add Printer Driver Wizard to
reinstall your printer driver.

Method- 6

 Remove and reinstall the printer

1. Start by unplugging your printer from the


computer, then navigate to Start > Settings >
Devices > Printers and scanners. Choose the
printer you want to remove and select
Remove device.
