INSTRUCTION FOR GRADUANDS ATTENDING
THE CONVOCATION - 2024
1. The Convocation for the students passed out in the year 2023 will be held on Monday, the
29th July, 2024 preceded by a Rehearsal on Sunday, the 28th July 2024. The
scheduled programme for Rehearsal on 28th July 2024 is as follows:

Rehearsal for Convocation is mandatory to attend for all the Graduands who have given their
confirmation to attend the Convocation.

PLEASE NOTE: Graduands should occupy their seats in the auditorium by 10:00AM. Timing
as per programme given above will be strictly adhered to by all the Graduands.
Dress for Graduands: Formal Dress will be worn for the function as indicated below:
Gents: - White Kurta, Pajama with Juti/Mojaris
Ladies: - White Saree with Golden Border with Sandals

Please note:
1. The Graduands who fulfill the following criteria will only be registered:
a) Confirmation Slip, download from Convocation Portal.
b) Have no pending dues/documents.
c) Produce identity proof.
2. Graduands will be issued their Convocation I Card and card for their Guest, as already
confirmed by them.
3. Guests are not required to attend the Rehearsal
4. Those Graduands, who do not attend the Rehearsal, even though have confirmed will not be
allowed to attend the Convocation.
5. Graduands should bring their Identity proof/Aadhar Card.

Dress for Graduands
Formal Dress will be worn for the function as indicated below:
Gents: - White Kurta, Pajama with Juti/Mojaris
Ladies: - White Saree with Golden Border with Sandals
Convocation Stole
All the Graduands will be issued Stole at the venue in the earmarked enclosure and they
will wear throughout the function.
Timing
Timing as per programme given above will be strictly adhered to by all the Graduands and
their Guests. In case they are late in reporting, they will not be permitted to attend the
Convocation. The Graduands once seated in the Convocation hall will not be allowed to
come out till the Convocation is over. Perfect discipline will be maintained commanding the
sanctity of the function.
Refreshment/ Lunch
Graduands & their Guest will be served Lunch after the Convocation is over.
Photography
Photography cabins will be put up outside the Convocation hall, where the Graduands can get
themselves photographed, if they do wish, on payment.
