log it manually on MOP-B, which is the only MOP where HCU Events is accessible.

In the following the example will be showed as HCU events, as collecting HCU Events, HPS Events
and Cyl. Events is the same procedure. Just choose the

To find the HCU Events, use MOP-B and select:

5 Collecting Line Recorder data from CoCoS-EDS

Only line recorder files which include the specific failure are needed. Therefore, please carefully
select the data following the below guide and send it to MDT for analysis.

There are two ways to collect the data:

1. To save the line recorder immediately after an alarm occurred (starting from item 1).
2. To pick the line recorder files saved automatically, including the event you want to be
analyzed (starting from item 6).

1. Run the tests and engine maneuverings which should be analyzed (a test could just be an
event that you want to save for analysis after it happened).

2. Go to the window LINE RECORDER.

This can be done by pressing the button:

You can also go to the menu ‘MONITORING’ and then chose

‘LINE RECORDER’.

or simply by pressing SHIFT + F8.

Chose the file with the date and time you want to send. However, notice that the file is saved
with a UTC time stamp and the time shown in CoCoS is the computer’s local time.

To check that the linerecorder file contain the requested data. Please choose a file in the CoCoS
Linerecorder database and press “Show”.

If the file contains the requested data open the linerecorder database again. Then write a
comment and press “Add”. In that way the stamp of “Date modified” on the file will change,
which will make it easy to pick the correct file.

7 Export SCSU Scope records

The SCSU Scope program is not a requirement for Dual Fuel engines but it is a very helpful tool to monitor
and troubleshoot on the Gas system.

Remember that SCSU Scope has to be opened for each cylinder and should be ARMED to record any
unexpected failures.

1. On the PC, select the Cylinder which caused the Gas Stop. If in doubt do the same with all of them.

2. Insert a USB flash drive into the PC. Press the „Save“ button and then locate the destination you will
store the record.
