• SCOPE: This method statement covers the detailed procedure for installation of the fluted panels, wooden
counter, wall painting, electrical wiring/piping and plumbing also the range wood.

• PURPOSE: The purpose of this statement is to describe the measures and the activities of proper
installation of the KIOSK FOOD STALL WITH WOODEN COUNTER TABLE AND DECORATIVE DISPLAY UNITS and
related activities are executed safely and in accordance with the specifications Architectural & Civil
Specifications and MEPS. All quality assurance / control activities are conducted in a systematic manner
and inspected, conformance is verified and documented. The Safety precautions will be implemented
throughout the progress of work.
• DEFINATION:
• MS - Method Statement.
• QCP - Quality Control Procedure.
• ITP - Inspection & Test Plan.
• PQP - Project Quality Plan
4.0 RESPONSIBILITES:
• Ensure the entire works are carried out as per Schedule, Specification & Drawings and
report to Project Manager.
• Arrange the resources (Skilled labors, Materials, & Machineries) adequate for the production of works.
• Distribute the responsibilities to his Subordinates & Subcontractors
• Coordinate with QC, Safety for proper execution of work in a safe environment.
• Make weekly and daily program for execution of work and distribute to his subordinates.
• Ensure that his team is using the latest approved drawings, Designs, etc.
• Ensure the work is executed as per approved method statement.
• Ensure that all the works are carrying out as per the specification and the related quality procedure.
• Maintain inspection and test records complete for any future reference.
• Maintain records & logs for tests, pure records etc.
• Ensure that the works are carried out as per quality plan, and approved Method statement.
• Report any non-conformity to the project manager.
• Ensure the implementation of all safety measures in accordance with the HSE plan and everybody aware
of it for the proper implementation

• Inspect all the site activities and train the persons to prevent accidents and tis proper reporting to the
project manager and the client.

• Ensure that the site is maintained clean tidy.

• Carrying out the work and the proper distribution of all the available resources in co-ordination with the
site engineer on a daily basis.

• Coordinate with the surveyor for the bench marks, setting out the markings.

• Incorporate all the QC and safety requirements as requested by the concerned engineer.
• Met with any type of unforeseen incidents or requirements and reporting to the site engineer immediately
• Ensure that all the concrete works are carried out as per approved drawing dimensions and level
• Ensure that all that all the inspection with consultant surveyor has been carried out and signed off.

PROCEDURE:
5.1 : INSTALLING

• Before installing any kind of renovation or altercation, a building or facility should be completely
examined, inspected and checked to ensure that the are all ready for their ‘rough-ins’.
• When the installation of Electrical and Sanitary line and water line at the area that is the time all cladding
works and Painting works to be installing on the next step of the construction and all accomplished,
recommended scope of works of finish should be maintained.

5.2 FIXING OF KITCHEN CABINET WITH SINK AND DISPLAY UNIT.

• Specification and approval of the client shall be confirmed prior to installation.


• The Site Engineer should ensure that the area is ready to install stainless and other scope of works.
• Approved materials with proper MAR and approved shop drawings shall be all available prior to start the work.
• Installation of DISPLAY UNIT shall be carried out as per the approved method statement and shop drawing.
• Early preventive action can be done easily during the work progress in coordination with site staff.
• Any inspection comments from the client for installation of all works shall be addressed for immediate
corrective action.
• Alignment and verticality & horizontal shall be also need to verify and any deviation shall under the required
tolerance as specified in the project specification.
• Remove stains after installation, Use the approved paint for final touch up if there are any damages.
• Fluted Panel Cladding and DISPLAY UNITS Ensure all the materials are as per the project specification.
• Review all the approved materials documents and shop drawings prior to start the work.
• The production manager will cross check the drawing on his side for each departmental head Forman.
The Forman will prepare the cutting size according to the drawing for his subordinates. Meanwhile all the
approved controlled samples would be hand over the QCE. The production manager will be inspecting him
that production doing under the control of the sections foreman by drawing delivered to the site comply w/
approved samples.
• Installation shall be done in comply with all the project specification.
• Prepare MDF bracket male and female to hang the panels at the Wall.
• After fixing the cladding base, again the plumpness/level should be checked.
• Remove any scratches or stains after installation.
• Cleaning and covering shall be done after installation as per project specification.
• All the touchup work to be done w/ factory applied primer in such a way that any color difference should
not be noticeable, Touchup and Protection.
• Considering the fragility of the material especially around its edges, care should be taken in
handling and storage so as to avoid impacts on the edges.
• Energy use will mostly be mostly limited to hand tools (drills, cutting machines etc.), with material
handling and waste management forming the major concerns for environmental control.
• The paints are pre-approved and fall with in an acceptable VOC limit painting works shall conform to the
product technical data sheet
• As standard practice the following environmentally, friendly precautionary measures shall be taken,
while conducting the work as described in this statement, workers shall be trained and or allocated for
conducting the same as necessitated
• Ensure spill kits are available nearby all fueling activities.
• Ensuring spills are handled effectively and recorded as regulated by the project product MSDS.
• Cans, containers containing fuel, chemicals, adhesives, paints shall be kept closed while not in use, or
under drip trays if required
• Due diligence is shown in material handling, avoiding damage and waste creation.
• Due diligence shall be shown for waste reduction, with possible reuse if applicable. plumber

7.0 MATERIAL

• Screw gun – Power tool that drives all types of fluted board screws through ply board and into framing or
substrate
• Powder-actuated tool (E.g., Hilti Gun fastener)
• Chalk line
• Sprit level
• Metal cutting scissors
• Measuring tape – A steel retractable measuring tape, usually 25 feet in length.
• Gypsum board T-square –Square edge for measuring and cutting gypsum board to length and for
cutting out holes for square outlet boxes and other openings.
• Utility knife – the Standard cutting tool with replaceable/reversible blades for scoring and cutting
gypsum board.
• Hammer – Drives nails through gypsum board into wood framing.
• Keyhole saw – Small triangular saw for cutting out holes for outlet boxes, pipes, and other penetrations.
• Assorted trowels and taping knives – Bladed tools for applying and smoothing tape and joint
compound over joints and fastener heads.
8.0 HEALTH AND SAFETY PROVISIONS:

• We will provide to all workers with proper tools and equipment to execute the work safely.
• MSDS (material safety data sheet shall be displayed at work location as appropriate.
• We shall abide all means to national and international labor law and health regulations.

day and tool box talk daily during the span of the works for the activities concerned

• All opened areas to be safe guarded to protect the workers such as setting out warning

9.0 STORAGE OF MATERIALS:

• All materials shall be stored in flat surface with at least 20 centimeter above the ground
stored in acceptable piles to prevent from breakage.
• All materials shall be protected from mechanical damages and should be cared during
handling.
• All materials must be collected and returned to the designated storage area after working
hours and properly secured and locked.
