Flat Transition II Davinci Resolve | DaVinci Resolve Templates
The following is the order in which you need to use this template.
1. Download the default font, the link is available in the help file
2. Import all available asset files in the project folder
3. Install the template in the DRFX file folder

Step 1: Preparation before installation (Import all asset files)
(if this template does not have an asset file, you can skip to step 2)
To make sure the template works, there are a few things that must be set up
Before installing the template, make sure to import all asset files into the folder that
matches the path specified in the template. For example, if the template path is
Z:\assets\logo\[Link], make sure the [Link] file is right in the logo folder in the Z:
drive. The folder name, drive location, path, and file name must match exactly for the
template to work correctly. Errors in the structure or folder names can cause the template
to not work properly.
The asset file is in the Project File folder with the name Asset File which is incorporated with
the project file, and the location of the file path in this template can be seen in the image
below
paste all asset files to the folder path “D:\Assets\name_file.jpg” as shown above
Format description: drive location:\folder_project\file_name.png
because this is an absolute path so make sure the folder path must match the path
location in the template
Move the folder inside the assets folder to the appropriate drive where the project path is
located.
Step 2 : How to Use This Template
1. After you download the file, then extract the 'Main File' file to use
2. Open davinci resolve and import the macro file 'Macro File Template' or you can just
install the DRFX file
3. If use macro file, Copy all macro file to C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Blackmagic
Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Fusion\Templates\Edit\”select the template type”
The template file will automatically be available in the effects menu
4. Don't forget you must install the default template font
(because not installing the default font can result in the template not working)
5. To use it you only need drag and drop to your timeline
Step 3 : How to import project files
1. Open davinci resolve, right-click and select restore project
2. Open the project file you want to import
3. Done
